Aeropuerto de Jerez (XRY, tel 956 150 000)
is located 5km north of the city itself on the national carriageway NIV. The airport is small, modern and efficient. At the moment there are about 5 flights a day, mainly serving Madrid (Iberia), Barcelona (Iberia), London Gatwick and London Stanstead (Ryanair). Flight arrival and departure information can be found on the AENA web site. The real time information is provided from two hours before the flight to twenty four hours after the filght.
Gibraltar Airport (GIB, Tel: +350 73026 or +34 95 6775 984)
is located about 2 Km from the town centre adjacent to the frontier with Spain. There is a regular bus service to the town and taxis are available. If visiting Spain, it’s easier to walk across the frontier a few hundred yards away and collect your hire car in La Linea. Friends and relatives meeting passengers are advised to park in La Linea. All vehicle and pedestrian traffic to the town has to cross the runway. Safety barriers and warning lights stop visitors from straying in front of approaching aircrafts. British Airways operates scheduled flights on a daily basis to London Heathrow and Gatwick. Monarch offer daily flights to London Luton as well as to Manchester.
Aeropuerto de Malaga (AGP, Tel 952 048 484)
is located about 6km West of the Malaga city, just off the main Coast Road (N340). When leaving the airport by car, and approaching the N340, the left hand lane which takes you across the flyover goes to Malaga, Granada, Motril and Nerja, whereas the right hand lane is for Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella, Estepona, Sotogrande, Gibraltar, Cadiz, and the Costa de la Luz. Malaga is served by numerous airlines from the UK, including Monarch and Easyjet.
Seville Airport (SVQ, Tel: +34 954 449 000 / 954 672 981)
is located about 10 Kilometres north east of the city, on the NIV motorway to Cordoba and Madrid. There is a regular bus service to and from the city and the main railway station. There are also plenty of taxis outside the terminal building and a number of leading car hire companies based at the airport. There are regular nationalflights to Madrid, Barcelona, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca, and Tenerife. There are also regular international flights to Amsterdam, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Munich, Paris and Rome.
